My Norwegian Girl

It was our first time to join the United Nation craze in school. Based on the aftermath, I have to say it was a serious event / school activity and you have to be really prepared. 😂 (seriously)...

My Isabela represented NORWAY and wore the Norwegian traditional dress they called Bunad I made myself with matching the DIY Sunday Crown made by her tita and tito.

Some have really awesome costumes (pinaghandaan at pinagkagastusan talaga guys...), some have trainors? (tama ba?! yung nagsasabi kung pano magproject ganun.. 😜) Bonggahan talaga ang aura!

Eventhough we didn't win best in National Costume (mukha namang may laban kami.. hehe, I am very proud of my baby girl! This is the first time she ever joined a contest with her talking.. hehehe.. And a little tantrums lang kasi tired na sya sa parade..

We would also like to thank again the people who supported us, we won't be able to have this costume and the motivation without all of you! (Charot, pang Ms. Universe, eh UN lang naman!) HAHAHA!!!

Speaking of Ms. Universe, I would like to give my congratulations to Ms. Catriona Gray for being crowned Ms. Universe 2018! Ikaw the beshy!

I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good!

3 years is quite a long time, I thought that I will never have the urge to write again. But when time and inspiration comes, you just can't ignore the fact that I can again. 😜 I have been in the toughest battles, most embarrassing decisions, saddest part, best achievements and lots of support and love in my life in that 3 years (just so you know! 😜). So, let's begin again...

I know that it's LATE.. But I just wanted this memory to last.. ☺️ My kids just attended their 2nd Trick or Treat with a "Harry Potter" theme last Halloween at my big sister's office. And here's what they dressed up:

Of course my Uno as Harry Potter, the one when he got his letter and knew that he's a wizard and trying to get all his stuffs at Diagon Alley hence the baggy clothes.. 😍😍😍

My Isa wore the most villain woman in the story, Bellatrix Lestrange.

My big sister's kids and mine = the GANG! Ate Elie as Cho Chang of Ravenclaw and Caden as Young Harry Potter.. 😛

They've met Mad Eye Moody! Who won the best in costume in boys category.. And even be friends and sit on Lord Voldemort's lap!!! 😜😜😜

All their buckets over flowing with sweets and candies they are so excited to eat them all! LOL!!! 

All in all it was a fun day for the kids even though it has been raining all day due to a typhoon.

Oh to be young again!

It's not that I'm too old, but I'm not getting younger hee. Back when I was a tween, I fascinated myself with dolls (hello barbie!). And yes, the only fashion doll that I knew back then was Barbie or it's the only doll back then. Eeep! or I just don't know others.. Well since I wasn't able to get all the dolls that I wanted when I was a girl, I have this liking to collect dolls now that I'm a bit older. It's normal right?! :P I bought a Blythe doll which remains undone, I'm customizing it's face.. :) I also bought Ever After High doll Madeline Hatter which I ordered abroad, because we don't have them in local toy stores here. Some Monster High and Bratz dolls which are all incomplete because my daughter wants to play with them *sigh* But never a Barbie.. :P I don't know but I think barbie dolls went back to super basic. Many dolls now don't have bendable legs or if you come across to ball-jointed ones they're a lot expensive.. :(

So now that Christmas is fast approaching a really want one of these cool dolls (I think!) in my wishlist. As one says AGE ARE JUST NUMBERS! :D

Back to the Basic

I really wanted to have a classic black shoes for work which look super good and super comfortable ever since I go back to an "office job". When I was in sales I always wear black shoes too but in flats, now I need to wear little heels so that when I'm wearing uniforms I will not look lousy and unprofessional right? So hunting a perfect black classic shoes with heels for office is very difficult, because if it's really comfortable and good in the eyes then it must be the expensive ones.. I really can't afford leisure right now because I need to attend with my kids needs.. :P But if given a chance I would love to try these Cole Haan Bradshaw pointy toe pumps that I browse at Nordstrom.com. This shoes were given a perfect 5 stars in reviews, I got curious! :P 

Since I'm not capable to own these shoes yet, my search for a perfect classic black shoes continues...

Here I Go Again

Almost every post I made in this blog starts with "this is for a new start" and "I promise I will be active again" blah blah. That was the time that I really wanted to be a "blogger", the one with lots of followers and sponsors (I still do!). But realized I just can't do that if I'm not really into it, if I don't really exert effort and commitments -  there is no "instant fame" here.

So now, as I write I will make sure to myself that I can keep up with this. Not for instant fame or sponsorship but for whatever purpose this blog serves in my life.

Here I go again...

I will write about life, fashion, my passion, my kids and everything that I love. I will write even though it does not make sense to everyone but hoping they will understand. :)

What I Wore: Monochromatic!

Wearing: Cream Spaghetti strap dress with tulle skirt and a sheer vest with embroidery - Betty, Teens Wear SM Dept. Store. Nude pumps - St. Francis.

Here's what I wore on my civil wedding last January, can't believe were on our 3rd month already.. :P Anyways I chose to wear monochromatic and dainty color to match the occasion. It's very simple and classic in my opinion, don't you think? I wore my hair in a bun and put a cream rose clip with feathers (not seen). And put a simple make up, pink cheeks and pink lips, I also put a nude nail color with gold glittered at the tips to add more romance.. :D

So Last Year!

And so it began.. hehehe.. My super super late posts. I've put them together last year to highlight what happened on my birthday but unfortunately did not post it. So here's my collage of the event, I always celebrate my birthday with my family and at home. My mother always cooks for us, so definitely will celebrate at home.. :P What made my last year's birthday extraordinary was that I gave myself a full bangs, and I think I gave justice wearing it, don't you think? It only lasted for months because it's so difficult to maintain.. hehehe.. Nowadays I'm wearing my bangs at the sides with a hair pin (no fuss!) hehe.. :P

REx ate at: Clawdaddy's Bonifacio High Street

As I mentioned in my last post of me being married, we had our intimate little dinner with family at ClawDaddy's Bonifacio High Street after the ceremony. So here's our menu and how they tasted according to my tastebuds.. :P 

 American Cobb Salad - My favorite! I love everything about it, the sweet and sour taste of the mangoes, the corn, the chicken strips and lots of cheese. :) I recommend you to take a bite if  you haven't tried it yet. :)

 Buffalo wings - It's very spicy! But if your a fan of spicy foods, these wings are for you..:)

 Strawberry shake - It's refreshing, it's like the other strawberry shakes out there.. :P

 Baked oysters - I loved that it's baked and not fresh.:P I'm not very adventurous when it comes to food, still I tried this one. With the lemon juice and a little hot sauce it's delicious! :)

 Bbq sampler - It composes of grilled chicken, pork and fish bbq. I love the pork bbq most, I'm carnivorous! :P

 Freedom fries - My son loves fries so here's one platter for him. It tasted like a homemade fries.

 Chicken pasta alfredo - Simply the best! I can't describe it, it's delicious and tasteful. I also love the bread.. :)

Grilled tuna belly - It's fine.. :) (not a tuna lover, sorry.. :P)

Our little cake from Red Ribbon! How I wished they allowed us to change the cake flavor to rhumbutter.. (*sigh*)

So that's our little reception celebrating our union.. :) Hope I delight you with the menu of Clawdaddy's, and oh they also have great service A+! :)

New Beginnings

I wanted to start blogging again by posting what's making my life busy for the past months. :) It's been almost 3 months when we say the "I do.." phrase at Makati City hall. Now, I'm officially a wife to a wonderful man that loves me and my Uno. 

For  months without post anything here, I've been into sales in a real estates company which I think help me improved myself more specially in dealing with lots of people and boosting my self esteem and I'm so grateful to have been in this industry. The only thing that doesn't improve is my ability to manage my time wisely.. :P That's why there have been lots of things undone, like the shoe store online that we started last year doesn't even last for 3 months or the online thrift shop that we had for almost 2 years was mismanaged and now we officially closed it (and because Multiply had been very difficult to update). 

Now (deep breath...) I can say I'll try improving my time management and because I'm giving birth to my second child this month Johanna Isabela. :) I've been on the more positive view of life, that there's always a new beginning if you wanted to. :) 

I can say that I'm a girl who wants to do what she really wants in her life but been very afraid to start because I hate failures and disappointment, but I'm happy and thankful that I have my hubby that encourages and supports me 100% in anything that I wanted to do. So I want to try them this year, so I hope I can do what I have plan to do, if not atleast I tried (crossfingers!). That's one thing I learned from him, he never say "no" or "can't" if you haven't try it first.

I'm ending my post by welcoming myself here again and by the way I hope you like my new header.. hehe..:D

Happy Uno Day!

My son Uno celebrated his 3rd birthday last July 1 (I know, this is a super super late post..:P) Collected some of his highlights that day and the day before..:) I just remembered how heavy was his cake and how tired we were after his celebration, but it's all worth it. His very happy and excited, all his new stuffs were with him even when his sleeps..:P His big remote control car and the one in the big box in the collage were kept for safety because his not old enough to play with them and partly he destroyed them a little. hehe..

As a mother I'm proud of his milestones, he knows his ABC, numbers up to 100, colors and shapes and he can read too. He loves letters and numbers that every time we go to a kids store he chooses magnetic letters and numbers instead of big colorful toys. He speaks english, I don't know why maybe because he always watch Nickelodeon kiddie shows!! (nosebleed!!!) When I ask him if he wants to go to school he always says NO! Ooops! di nagmana kay Mama.. joke!!! :P He also loves listening to music and sometimes he sings part of it! :P He likes to watch movies and his favorites are Cars and Toy Story 2. :)

He's been growing fast! Soon i'll be missing his kulit and bulol moments when he goes to school or when he plays with his new friends.. Or when his in grade school or even high school and college.. *sigh* But for now, I'll cherish every moment of this time with my Super Kulit Uno!!! I love you so much baby!!! :D

REx's Board: Birthday Outfit

It's been almost two months since I post here. How I miss to have more time to simply surf and read blogs. My time in Sales is very demanding and I'm still adjusting in how to manage my time again.

Onto my post, this is what I want to wear when me and my boys will celebrate my birthday. Today is actually my birthday, I'm a year old! *sigh* But we don't have much free time with our schedules, so when the Date happens I want this as my OTD. :) I like the color schemes, it's like monochromatic and color blocking at the same time..:) What do you think? :) 

I found the perfect dress with the same color already, I also have the blazer already that I got in a thrift store.  I'll be using my black leather bag which is with me for the longest time, I'm so thankful she's not breaking up on me.. hehehe.. :P And now that schedule is full, I'm looking for the right accessories..:) I want the black and gold combo, and for the shoes my big boy gave me one but it's in color black and it's not wedges (Oh well, better than nothing! ).

Oh and I finally got my blunt bangs! :D

Mix and mismatch!

This week is a very busy one for me. I cleared some papers, got an interview and passed my requirements today for my new job. I went to NBI yesterday, and I say now it's easy to apply for a clearance I mean there are still LOTS of people but the processing was more organized and incredibly fast..:) About this outfit, this is one of my last outfits from my previous job..:) I have been wearing this dress like a hundred times but don't have a decent photo of it (or I'm just lazy..:P). I love it's geometric pattern and of course it's color. I paired it with my animal print bag which I think match or mismatch with the outfit.. What do you think? :)
